Talks by F. Riggi and L. Hertle:

  • POLA-BBS correlation was done with the red graph on the left plot of Lasse slide 6
  • the distance (eve 100 km) should not play any role when correlating muon and neutron data
  • Neutron detector measurement at different latitude (Franco's slides) were done with similar detectors
  • Corrections for pressure and humidity (at low energy) were applied to neutron data.
  • Is the effect larger for neutron detector than muon detector? It seems so, neutron detector should be more sensitive to the lower part of the primary energy spectrum
  • For muons we only applied pressure corrections and cuts. We would like to improve corrections for the next iterations.

  • it is important to compare new results with the old one done with POLA-01 also in view of planning for new measurements with POLA-02
