Update Long Distance Correlation (Paola):

- applied correction for delays of wave front propagation  (assming parallelism of primaries) on coincs DeltaT for d > 5 km -> observed reduction of signal for DeltaT < 1E-4 s.

     conclusions: corrections are not accurate, or the assumption on the direction correlation is wrong, or the original signal peak is due to something else (?)


- some gps problems observed in sevaral telescopes (work in progress) -> such telescopes will be excluded and the analysis will be repeated


- Comments:   1- can we trace telescope gps problems run-by-run-> via a DB?

                       2- can you check the event display of signal candidates?

                       3- what if we apply a strong cut on track parallelism in multi-track events      (same telescope)?


Rate vs altitude (Francesco):

- results on rate dependence on altitude presented(from 0.6 to 2 km @Etna)

- parameterization correlation with pressure and altitude

- clear difference of altitude effect and pressure effect (wip) above 1 km


- Comments:   1- are we interested to characterize this effect independently of systematich check on the measure of rate vs latitude?
                       2- if yes, we explored in the past the possibility to bring a polar telescope at high altitude with a small plane (time scale not clear)

- abstract call for SIF workshop is now open: let's start to think at possible contributions
